I can't help notice the similarities between your club's logo and nickname , to ours , although i have not got a problem with it ,i think you will find a lot of Swansea city fans will , any explanations?

Often wondered if this might one day come to light.
Newport Pagnell Town where formed in 1963, the reason for the swans nickname is that 2 rivers run through the town, if you walk by the river the most notable sight are swans. The Logo has evolved over the years, it used to have a swan with an iron bridge which is the most notable landmark in the town, the logo was changed to its current design about 5 years ago. Everyone liked it, but then it was noted that it was now the same as Swansea City, mind you it is green.

the logo's are similar but have very subtle differences to class as seperate logos
colour our logo always appears inside a set of two rings text always appears on top and under the logo outside of these rings the swan is made up of 5 shapes

the club was set up in 1963 you should ask them
I think "the bridge" had already been taken so we went for the next best thing
your in wales we're in england what does it matter - your a professional outfit we are non-league take it as compliment

Much to close , and what about the name '',the swans '' this is the name we have used since 1912 , surely this can't be right ? Its not just Swansea City that are nicknamed the Swans. Storrington Football Club (The Swans). Soutrop FC (The Swans). Australians Rules Football - Ottawa Swans (The Swans) & Sydney Swans (The Swans). I sure if a searched harder i would find many more football cubs with the nickname THE SWANS. Hardly original! There are a lot of football clubs out there with the same nickname. As for the Badge. The Swansea badge has three feathers and the Newport Pagnell Badge has 4 feathers + what gooders has just said.

How about inviting Swansea City up for a friendly, doesn't necessarily have to be at senior level - could be 18s, ladies, youth, or even supporters!
