Hi again, it's your friendly R&D supporter here! Just wondering how Nabil got on during his work experience spell with NPT? I see from your match reports that he scored quite a few goals during his stay.
He's now on loan at Banbury Utd in the Zamaretto Prem; do you think he's capable of making the jump up to that level?
Also, am I right in thinking that James Broadbent played 1 game for you as well? How did he get on?
Cheers.

Hi, I think Nabil will get on alright at a higher level. He has loads of skill with the ball etc. The Opposing defences had trouble containing him. Top of the Table St Neots found that out! :-)
Im not so sure about James Broadbent. I dont think I saw him myself.
Cheers Wayne.

Nabil has a lot of skill and will be a good future prospect. But to achieve his potential he must work on his awareness. Too often he held the ball too long not out of greed because he didn't see the options. If he learns that then an excitingt prospect.

Thanks for the feedback.
Nab has progressed a lot over the last 12 months and has been in great form when he's played for our youth team this season. Our youths actually played Chelsea's in a pre-season friendly and he more than held his own against a team full of youth internationals, so we've got high hopes for him!
We seem to have a good relationship with your club at the moment, so I would expect to see a few more of our 2nd years join you on loan in the coming seasons, which will hopefully prove beneficial for both clubs.
All the best for the rest of the season.

Hi
No probs.
Its good for players to get experience at other clubs and at different levels. I have to say I was gutted to hear Nabil had moved on but at the same time realise that players have ambitions and want to progress as far as they can as possible.
I wish Nabil all the best in the future.
I agree that NPTFC and R & D do seem to have a good relationship. I hope Newport do take on a few more players from R & D.
Hope things go well for R & D.
Cheers
Wayne.
