UCL Premier Division
Newport Pagnell Town 1- 1 St Ives TownSaturday, 20 March 2010This was a useful point for St Ives who've now gone seven league games without a win. The Swans had the better chances to take the lead during the first half with dykes, Lynch and McDonald going close. Daren dykes 1 on 1 chance with the goal keeper was brilliantly saved. After a scoreless first half Ozie Foster gave the Saints the lead five minutes after the restart when his well place shot on the edge of the Swans penalty area found its way past Bruce. This gave St Ives more confidence as they pushed the swans back for a few minutes. The Swans levelled on the hour, Dean Buss scoring from a looping header over the stranded keeper. The Swans came close to winning the tie when Darren Lynches shot was well saved by the St Ives number 1. 1-1 it remained and a point piece it was to be.
