FYI...
Although this season is not yet over for many of our teams, the league registrations process for the new 2010-11 season will be upon within a few weeks time. Some leagues, such as the Border Counties, are actively promoting The FA's RESPECT programme which will inevitably filter through upon the registration process.
With this in mind our Club Policies have been updated in advance, so can all team managers/officials please take a few moments to read through any not familiar to them. All Club Policies (or insructions) can be found from the link on the Home page and will need to be accepted/signed during registrations.
Should you have any questions, just let me know.
Best Regards, Kevin.

21/04 Further update following the Border Counties general meeting last night...
There will be two documentation drop-in evenings for registrations with this league at the C**k Hotel in Stony Stratford on the 29/06 and 27/07. All registrations with the league must be with the Registrations Secretary and completed by 31/07 (fore-warning: this may mean you having to personally deliver to Linslade if you miss both the drop-in sessions above!).
This is a good indicator for other leagues also, and can be used to work backwards on when teams and the Club will need to start to be able meet these deadlines.
[ PS - Our website censors certain words as in the hotel name above, and then changes it, but I think you can work it out, LOL! ]

30/04 Spoke to Neil last night...
He has not yet heard from the MKDJ7's but will follow up to see if they wish to do registrations at the Club as previously and advise.
I note that some teams still have to complete their league fixtures (I know of one team that still has 5 games to play before 23/05 when the Border Counties season ends).
Then we have end-of-season presentations, the silverware potential is looking good for this year.
Plus any socials, such as the Chairmans XI and/or Lads v- Dads games.
And, oh yes, the small matter of a World Cup.
During this time we have to complete our registrations, so we may expect this to creep up on us very quickly. Managers, may I suggest you get your players' parents tee'ed up!
Fore-warned is fore-armed as they say...

Just to add a bit more clarity here, there are two aspects to registrations;- (a) Club and Team registrations with the leagues (b) Player registrations with the Club and Teams.
Club and Team registrations with the leagues Ian is doing this now for the Chiltern Youth League The Border Counties needs to be completed by 31/05 Neil will be doing this for the MKDJ7's before 14/06.
Player registrations with the Club and Teams This is our registration event where players sign-up to the teams and therefore the Club. At this point the individual forms need completeing and the fees are due. Please note we will have some new forms this year (as previously advertised), plus once signed up the league's de-registration dates immediately become effective.
More to follow soon...

Update on the MKDJ7's reg event.
To be confirmed but it is provisionally planned to be on a Saturday, so an all day event but it won't be at our club which is a shame.
Soon as I know more I will mail out details
