Premier Division St Ives Town 4 Newport Pagnell Town 3 Tuesday, 08 November 2011 St Ives edged a thrilling encounter with ten man Newport Pagnell. The Swans were in the ascendancy early on with Daren dykes giving them a sixteenth minute lead and Richard Armstrong adding a second two minutes later, both from dead ball situations. The dismissal of Vinny Shrieves on the half hour proved a turning point. Two minutes later an Ozie Foster header put St Ives back in the game, and Lee Ellison levelled three minutes later, again scoring with his head. A double strike from Conor Washington after 58 and 64 minutes put the Saints in charge. His first was a 30 yard lob and his second saw him turn his marker before bursting between two more defenders and firing home. Newport weren't finished though and an 81st minute Dean Buss goal made it an anxious last few minutes for the home side. St Ives: Niall Conroy-Owen, Scott Everdell, Jamie Alsop, Dan Newman, Jordan Lambert, Aaron Last, Ozie Foster, Lee Ellison, Conor Washington, Stuart Cobb (Scott Fielding), Grant Robbins. Newport: Josh McAdoo, Rob Tapp (Lewis Wilson), Massimo Lagioia (Scott Mulkern), John Thorpe, Dean Buss, Liam Smyth, Daren dykes, Richard Armstrong (Matt Broomes), Vinny Shrieves, Dom Lawless, Sean McBride.
