Newport Pagnell 2 - 1 AFC Kempstone - UCL Prem
Monday 1st April (Easter Monday).
Goals : Daren dykes.
The Swans snatched another 3 points in a local derby from a team in the bottom 4 to maintain their 7th position in the League Table.
The Swans had the better chances in the firs 10 minutes through Ash Farmer and Matt Broomes but had to be aware of the sharpness and pace of the Kempston Forwards and the away side did threaten at times but Josh stayed alert.
Kempston took the lead around 30 minutes in when the Kempston midfielder found his fellow team mate in space, the forward finishing neatly by lobbing Josh to put the Walnut Boys in front.
Broomes had a shot from outside the area comfotably saved by the keeper then Croxfords shot went wide of the mark.
Despite more pressure from Newport, they could not find a way through in the first half.
The second half was the better half for the Swans not just attacking wise but they reduced Kempston down to very little chances.
The Swans found the equalizing goal through Daren dykes bravely charging down a goal clearance which bounced off dykesy back into the goal.
The second goal came when Beefy was tripped while charging into the area, Daren dykes cooling despatching the ball into the goal from the penalty spot.
Former Kempston players, Watson and Farmer came close to scoring in the final minutes but Ash Farmer scuffed his shot and Watson shot just wide of the goal.
The Swans survived a last minute attack from Kempston but luckily the effort from the edge of the area went wide.
