Newport Pagnell 2 Harborough 1
05/05/13
Harborough Town are Doubled D'd by the Swans top scorers!
Swans boss Darren Lynch made a rare on field appearance and snatched a late winner for the Swans after the other Daren scored from the Penalty spot!
Daren dykes gave Newport a 33rd minute lead from the penalty spot after Jarrod Cunniff was fouled. dykes scoring his 99th career goal for the Swans.
Taras Petranyuk's Harborough reply ten minutes into the second half when he pounced down the right hand side.
The Swans then made a super sub with a difference, the Manager bringing himself on up front with Daren dykes to try and give Newport the near perfect finish. This came when Lynch won it for Newport a minute from time after he out jumped the Harborough Defender to score one of his trade mark goals to give his team all 3 points and also to male sure that Newport where the only team in the UCL Premier Division unbeaten through out April and May. Maybe the Manger of the Month could be heading his way?
The Perfect finish wasn't to be after Daren dykes fell one short of his Century of goals. Lets hope he will be back next year to achieve the magic 100 goals...............or even more than that?
Newport: Josh McAdoo, Scott Mulkern, Keith Williams, Dean Buss, Dave Baker, Rob Tapp (Darren Lynch), Ash Farmer (Sam Maude), Matt Broomes (Jack Croxford), Daren dykes, Jared Cunniff, Steve Brooks.
Harborough: Luke Maher, Tony Bartlett, Gary Chambers, Sam Baines, Craig Jacobs (Ash Robinson), Dom Page, Ryan Goodband, Will Arnold, Joe Wright, Taras Petranyuk (Jake Bettles), Tom Chaoman (Ben Barton).
